“This Study for Leak...in dark days, assisted in visualizing the site-specific project placed in the foyer—at the landing. Again, we have the Hermitage spectrum from east to west, as an underscore, a measurement, at 1:1 scale. The very curious profiles refer to the given support structure, at the base of the door. Cross-sections of dimensional wood-trim—the “quarter round”—are set against a grey ground, in this case completely saturated and then washed away. I was pleased that the watery gouache addressed the subject of the work."
